Fit plane

- [Instructor] Fit plane has many uses when modeling in a point cloud. We can use the plane to set our UCS, locate edges and corners, and once you start using the software more, you'll find many more uses for plane fitting. Let's take a look at the basics. So, let's look for a section on the point cloud, and we want to look at fitting some planes here. So let's say for example, we wanted to look at modeling this foundation right here. So I'm going to navigate into the corner here, and let's take a look at fitting a plane. So to do that, we're going to come across to our modeling tab, and we're going to look at the options that we have for fitting planes here. So we can go ahead and fit a plane using multiple points, using single-click, or by drawing a plane. So we'll start with a single one-click. Now what we're going to do is just zoom out a little bit.
