Freezing all other nonessential layers
- [Instructor] Last but not least in this chapter, we now need to think about freezing off all of our non-essential layers. All we need to see in our drawing is the boundary poly lines that we're going to be using in our scene in 3D Studio Max. Now, obviously what we're going to do once we've done all of this is save the drawing as a different drawing. You do not want to use your current AutoCAD 2D drawing. Almost like a transition drawing that you're going to import into that scene in 3D Studio Max. So we're staying in the 00_Ground Floor_BOUNDARIES.dwg file. We've got our boundary poly lines all in place, so we just go to the Layer Properties like so. Now, the benefit you have in this drawing is there aren't many layers. That's a good thing.
