Generate 2D views from a 3D object in the layout tab

- [Instructor] We're starting another AutoCAD tip and trick now, and we're going to have a look at generating 2D views from 3D objects in the model space in our AutoCAD drawings. Now this is the first part of a two-part series, so this is tip and trick number one of two. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called 2DViews1.dwg. You can download it from the library to follow along with this, the first part of two tips and tricks about generating 2D views from 3D objects in your AutoCAD drawing. So in our 2DViews1.dwg, you can see that we've got a very, very simple 3D object. It's a rectangular 3D object sitting there in the model space. Now, one of the benefits you have here with AutoCAD is you have the View panel and the ability to generate views from the model space. So, if we now jump into our ISO A2 Landscape layout tab, you can see we've got a very simple title block available.
