Gradient command

- [Instructor] We're staying the HatchingGradients.dwg file, and you can see that I've left it in the same state as it was at the end of the last video where we placed the hatch pattern over here on this conference table. We're going to look at gradient fills now, so make sure you're still on the A-HATCHING layer up in the Layers panel, which you can see that we are up here. Now, with hatching and gradients, you can place them in a drawing to highlight areas. The good thing about the gradient fill, though, is you don't need to worry about the color of the layer that it goes on because it defines its own colors. So if I go to the Draw panel now, click on the flyout here, and instead of Hatch now, I select Gradient. Come into the drawing area, and you'll see the Hatch Creation tab appears, but now we're working with gradient fills. And you'll see they look subtly different with the blue and the yellow.
