- [Instructor] As you can see we're in AutoCAD in our Plate.dwg file. I'm going to type graphics config again, like so, and as I start typing, the suggestion menu picks up what I'm typing. So I just select graphics config from the suggestion menu. That'll bring up my graphics performance dialogue box. And as I said, I'm going to go through each of the settings individually. Now this one here, hardware acceleration, is the one we're going to look at in this particular video. Now, hardware acceleration basically allows you to switch on your GPU, your graphics processing unit, to be used by AutoCAD. So as you can see there, mine is currently switched on. I can click here and switch it off, as well, but you'll notice, as soon as I turn hardware acceleration off, I lose any of my 3D display settings. It says, "Effects are now unavailable for your hardware." That's my Radeon Pro WX A200. If I switch it on again, you'll see…
