- Once again, we're in 3ds MAX 2020 and you'll notice that we've got a blank screen. We haven't imported anything yet. We're still going through that setting things up to import into 3ds Max. Now, just to throw another spanner in the works, there are two ways that you can bring your AutoCAD drawing into 3ds Max. Now, while this might seen a little bit, okay, why are there two, why is that confusing? They're not confusing if you know what each one does. So, let's have a little look at those, I'm just going to go through them with you before we actually go and find our DWG file and bring it into 3ds Max. It's very quick and easy, you go up to File, here at the top left hand corner there. And you can see that we've got Import and Export. Now, if you hover over Import, you can see there that you can import a file, and you can also link an AutoCAD file. There's other file formats as well though. There's things like FBX…
