- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick and what we're going to be looking at is placing named views in a layout tab as view port. Now this is a really neat feature in AutoCAD because what you can have is lots of different named views in your model space and you can literally just drop those views straight into a layout tab as scaled view ports. So we got a new drawing for you, it's called 00 Ground Floor.dwg. And as usual, you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. Now, once you've got it open, make sure you are in neat model tab initially. And then what we're going to do, we're going to go to the view tab on the ribbon like so. Now, in older versions of AutoCAD, if you want to get the view manager up on the screen, it needs to go to your view control here. See where it says top and then click on view manager on the dropdown and there's your view manager there. You want model views and you want to click on new and…
