Layer naming strategy

- [Voiceover] So as I mentioned at the beginning of this chapter, we're staying in the 00_GND_FM_SETTINGS.dwg file. And we've set up our drawing units now, and we've set up our drawing limits in the previous two videos. So, in this particular drawing, we're gonna start looking at our layer naming strategy for our facilities management drawings. So make sure you go to the home tab on the ribbon and then go to the Layers panel. I need to expand mine out because my panels are a little bit squished due to my screen resolution. And we're gonna open up the Layer Properties manager. Now, in previous videos, what we've done is we've renamed the reference drawing, the structural plan, and we've got the FP, the facilities plan that layers like so. Now, it's nice and easy, it's a real simple naming philosophy that I'm going to use. What I'm going to do now, is I'm going to use FM for any facilities management layers and, obviously, the FP is facilities plan layers. So, I go up to new layer here,…
