Layers: Using the LAYWALK command in AutoCAD

- Welcome to another Auto CAD tip and trick. We're going to have a look at the Layer Walk command today in Auto CAD - or LayWalk as it's known. We've got a new drawing for you it's called Using LAYWALK.dwg and you know the drill by now - you can download that from the library to follow along with the video. Now it's a simple little architectural excerpt of a drawing, so you've got the walls, the door, and the window. So, the walls are this orange color - you've got the window there, you've got the door there. And again, they're just made up of lines, arcs, and polylines. So, what we're going to do is we're going to use the Layer Walk command, and what it allows you to do is highlight the layers that you want to see. So, what I'm going to do here - I'm just going to pan a little bit, so that this goes down towards the bottom left, and then in the layers panel - in the home tab on the ribbon - the Layer Walk command is on the flyout. So, click the flyout here and just pin it open…
