- [Instructor] Keeping intelligence, such as object data and link template information when moving data into vector-based GIS data is critical for data integrity. You will load multiple objects into a GIS dataset in this lesson, so let's do that now. in the GULPH.dwg file located under Chapter09, 09_02 we're going to drag and drop the PARCELS.sdf into it. No under View, up here, you'll see that there's a name view called New Subdivision. It will zoom into the area of the city, I'll zoom out just to show you where that is, where there is some data already existing. The green data, I'll go to Home tab just to show you, if I click on that you'll see that's on a parcels layer in AutoCAD. These are P lines, if I right-click on it, look at it. It's actually a closed P line, see, closed, yes. And it has object data, has an ID, it has a street name and a street number. So, that particular parcel is a closed P line in AutoCAD. It's…
