- [Voiceover] So we're staying in our 00 ground FM intro drawing and as you can see we're in the Model tab and I'm zoomed to the extent of the drawing. And we're gonna look at how we manage our spaces when we're working with space management in AutoCAD. In the previous course we polylined the areas and gave them some text descriptions and used the Insert Fields command to insert the actually physical areas. So let's zoom in on the Reception Area here and you can see that text there. So there's one piece of text there that says Reception Area and there's another piece of text and it's all multi-line text and it's actually showing me that that's 24.2 meters squared. Now it may be that I'll want to extract different types of data from the drawing. Now the way that I can extract data from the drawing is I can actually utilize a thing called Attributes.
