Measuring tools
- [Narrator] Let's take a quick look at some of the measuring tools in As Built. We have a few tools available for you to use, depending on your needs. We'll look at both the 3D Distance tool, and the Measure Difference tools. Now, I've already gone ahead and located an area that we can use to take some dimensions. So, at 3D dimension, or 3D distance is exactly what is says, it measures the points between two specific points, and it will give it in 3D, so it's not going to give you perfectly flat elation, completely 3D. So, let's take a look and see, if we look at the distance tool, and we want to know the distance from the corner of this panel here, to the corner of the panel over here. So, it's going to give me the 3D distance. If I measured somewhere up in the point cloud here, if I measured from, for example, the end of the walkway up to the center of the column up here, it's going to give me that dimension.
