Merging GIS data

- Combining two GI special features together requires a process to adapt the attributes to the primary feature. For example, if you merge two addresses together, say 10 and 12 Main Street, you can choose to take all the attributes from 10 Main Street as the primary data source for all those attributes. Let's try that now. So, in our drawing, lets attach the Parcel Merge SDF. We're going to merge these two parcels together. If we look at the data of the parcels, you can see that we have Three Trent Lane with a feature ID of two, and we have One Trent Lane with a feature ID of three. We're going to make the One Trent Lane the primary feature source. We're going to keep the feature ID of three, the ID will be the same, and the street number will be one. So, let's make sure we've got that set up. So, under the Options inside of the data table here, click on Set Split and Merge Rules. For the ID, it's defaulting to first selected,…
