- [Instructor] Combining two GS vector features together requires a process to adopt the attributes of the primary feature. For example, if you merge addresses together 10 and 12 main street, you can choose to take all the attributes from 10 main street as the primary data source. That's exactly what we're going to do here. So in exercise files, chapter 11, 1102 in the GUELPH dwg, let's drag and drop the PARCEL MERGE sdf. You'll see it's two separate polygons. Let's open up the table and you'll see one is one Trent lane and the other is three Trent lane. We're going to merge them together and make them both one Trent lane. But to do that, we need to set some rules. So inside of the data pane here, let's go options, set split and merge rules.
