Modifying object data

- [Instructor] Object data enriches your DWG and enables you to get much more out of your drawing. Editing that data takes this enrichment to the next level. Let's look at two different ways to edit the object data in your drawing. First, we'll use the Object Data Edit tool under the Map Edit part of your Tools ribbon. The Edit Object Data tool at the command line ADEEDITDATA will allow us to select the segment that we need. Let's pick on the long segment in the middle of your map. You will see that the unique ID is 1325, and the street name is STONE RD E. Let's change that to East, E-A-S-T. Press Enter. By pressing Enter, it commits it. But then we have to hit OK to finish. So let's edit that again. So under Tools, Map Edit, Edit Object Data, we'll pick on that same segment. You will see that the street name is now STONE RD East. Let's put that back to STONE RD E 'cause that's the standard in this drawing. And we'll press Enter. You'll see it will stick. And then click OK, and now…
