- So, we've now come to the end of our AutoCAD: 2D & 3D Elevations course. I do hope you've enjoyed it and I do hope that you've learned a lot more about publishing your 2D and 3D elevations from your AutoCAD drawings. Obviously, AutoCAD is both a 2D and a 3D product. You can develop a lot of elevations in a 2D environment and you can then plot and publish them from that 2D environment. You can also do that in the same way as you would work with a 3D model, such as our house here in our drawing. And you can, obviously, plot and publish the elevations from that 3D model in a very similar way as the way that you might plot your 2D elevations as well. What I've tried to do with this course is cover both 2D and 3D, because people obviously work in both those different environments, depending on what they're using AutoCAD for.
