Performing database queries
- If your attached source drawings are tied to a database with a link template, you can query those graphics from those drawings based on a number of criteria from the database itself. This is, by far, the most powerful query technique for performing source drawing queries. Let's try that now. First, I'm going to attach the database that is attached to the source drawing. I'll just drag and drop that into Map Explore. The next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to attach the source drawing that is tied to that zoning query. So, go to my exercise files, chapter 3, lesson 5, and attach the parcels. Hit OK. I'm just going to do a quick view just to have a look at it and zoom to extents.
