Performing location queries

- [Instructor] Querying source drawings using Location enables you to choose your data and draw a boundary which will cookie cut your data from all the attached drawings. For example, you can query only the drawings that fall within your neighborhood or that cover the entire city. Let's try that now. So the first thing we need to do in our project is attach the drawings. So right-click on Drawings, click Attach. We're going to go into our exercise files alias, Chapter Three, Lesson Two, and we're going to choose Hydrology and Streets, and click Add, click OK. And just to give you an idea, we're just going to right-click and do a Quick View. And we'll hit OK, and there's the data, okay? So I'm just going to hit RE to make it disappear again. And this time, instead of a Quick View, we're going to use our current Query Library. So under the Query Library, we're going to double-click on there, and we get the Define Query of Attached Drawings dialog box. It's separated into various zones…
