Performing object data queries

- [Instructor] Having intelligent source drawings that are laden with object data, is an effective way to keep track of non-graphical information, such as install date or pipe type. Using object data queries allows you to capitalize on this rich data and enables you to ask questions. For example, you can now ask, "Show me all the pipe older than 80 years" by using an object data query. We're going to do something similar now, but we're going to query in all the roads of a particular name. So under map explorer, we're going to attach the drawings. Go to attach. We're going to use that exercise files alias. Chapter three. Number four. We're going to attach the streets and hit okay. Then we're going to double click on current query. We're not going to use location or property or SQL. We're going to use data in this case. If I click on data, and then what it can do is it allows me to get some of the data inside of the attached streets drawing. In this case, I'm going to use object data…
