Performing property queries

- Often when creating attached drawings, you only want objects that have a particular AutoCAD property such as layer or color. The Property query is perfect for that situation. For example, you may want to query all the drawing components for a layer called Roads even though the Road's layer spans multiple drawings. Let's try that out. First, we'll open up the GUELPH.dwg. Then we're going to use the Drawings, Attach under the Map Explorer. Make sure we're going to Exercise files. If you don't already have this alias setup I have an alias called Exercise files that goes to see users, your name, desktop exercise files. That's where I extracted the exercise files. Now this is Chapter Three and we're going to go to 03 03 and we're going to attach Buildings, Hydrology and Streets to our current drawing.
