Performing property queries

- [Man] Often, when querying attached drawings, you only want the objects that have a particular AutoCAD property, such as layer or color. The property query is perfect for this situation. For example, you may want to query the drawing for a layer called roads, even though that layer spans multiple drawings. Let's try using property queries. First, we'll attach the drawings. We'll click attach, go into the exercise files alias, chapter three, lesson three. We'll pick on buildings, hydrology, and streets. Click add. We'll do a quick view. Click okay, and there's the data again. Well we only want to filter out particular layers. So let's double click on current query. We have choices again. Under query type, location, property, data, or SQL. This case, we're going to use property. These are AutoCAD properties that are inside each of these source drawings.
