- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at doing a quick staircase layout using as-built in VirtuSurv. We can determine the placement of the stair treads by picking points from the point cloud and having them translate into 2D annotations on the drawing. And you'll see I've gone ahead and modeled in a little section the banister, so we do need to have some railings or banisters modeled. In this case it's spiral, so we can only go up so far, because we don't have the scan data going around. But, it should work the same and if you're working with just a single staircase between two walls, you don't need to worry about the banister, as long as we have two positions that we can use as the edge of the stairs we're fine. So, for stairs we're going to look at the first thing is setting up the treads. So, where's the treads located? Now, we can go ahead and choose points from VirtuSurv.
