Reprojecting GIS data

- [Instructor] GIS data is usually already flagged with a coordinate system. If your DWG also has a coordinate system assigned, your GIS data will dynamically reproject. Now, unlike DWG data, when you change the coordinate system inside your DWG, all the attached GIS data will automatically reproject. Let's try that now. So let's grab the curbs, the hydrology, and the streets SDF under chapter 12, 1203, and put it into the Gulf DWG. So you'll see that hydrology, curbs, and streets are all attached automatically. They're reprojected in Pseudo Mercator. The original coordinate system we can tell on hydrology, curbs, and streets if we go to Data, Connect to Data; we can see if we pick on Curbs, that that's in Pseudo Mercator. Hydrology is in lat/long 84. And the streets are also in Pseudo Mercator. Our current drawing is in Pseudo Mercator.
