Saving out as a 3ds Max scene
- [Instructor] Just like in AutoCAD, you should always save your work in 3ds Max. So once you've got to this point in your 3ds Max scene, what you ought to be doing now, is saving it. To make sure that that information is saved to a known location so that basically, people can use that file, you can use that file, but more importantly, if there was a power cut, for example, you don't lose that information. It's saved somewhere. So very quick and easy to save a .max file, you go up to file like so, and like we've done previously, you can either do save as or save. Now, it's 3D_Ground Floor.max, so if you just click on save, that's the equivalent of a Q save in AutoCAD, and you've saved those changes. If you want to give it a different filename, simply go to file and save as like so, and you can give it a different filename. Just be aware of the location where you're saving the file.
