- [Instructor] When you look at your scans using recap, you can see a clear, plainer image of the scans using the mirror balls in the 3D view feature. When working in AutoCAD, we can now also view the data using this method. We use to scan navigation to filter the points and see only the data captured by each individual scan. Let's take a look at scan navigation and learn how to use it to help us model. So to find scan navigation, we want to come up to our as built model or tab in the ribbon menu and look at the scan navigation panel. The first thing we want to do is create our scan labels, so let's zoom into the area of points that we see here. Now the points that you see here were gathered. This is an accumulation of all the different scans that were captured during the time that they were out scanning this facility.
