Selecting text objects

- [Instructor] We're staying in the ConvertToMTEXT.dwg file, and you will recognize it from the previous video, where we looked at the "Convert to Mtext" settings. So what we're going to look at now is how we select our text objects to convert to Mtext, multi-line text. So you can see we've got all the different bits of single line text there in our AutoCAD drawing. And I'm going to look at the top two pieces of single line text, the one that reads "Convert to MTEXT", and also "Character codes". So you'll notice there that's a piece of regular text, and if I double click on it, and go in there, can you see we've got a degree symbol? Which normally, with character codes, is %%d, that you would type in single line text to get that symbol. Now, normally if I converted that to Mtext, it will come up as %%d in the Mtext. I'm just going to hit escape there to deselect it, and what I'm going to do is go to my Express Tools tab on the Ribbon, into the Text panel, and select "Convert to…
