Set Scan Navigation direction

- [Instructor] When we use scan navigation you may have noticed that when you select a scan it jumps into a random view. We must then rotate and pan inside our scan to find the component we want to look at. However, we can set our scan navigation up to look at a specific point of interest in the point cloud and then each time we open a scan position the object of interest will be right in the center of the view. Okay, so let's look at our scans in this area here, we'll come up to scan navigation and we're going to create our scan labels. So I'm going to show you what I mean by this. Now we're just going to jump into scan navigation, turn scan navigation on and I'm going to click this scan label right here. Now I'm going to pan around and you'll notice there is a large globe valve with a sphere on top here. Now if this is something I want to model, this is something of interest, this area of the point cloud is of interest to me, I might want to just spend a few less minutes clicking…
