Setting up an annotative dimension style

- [Instructor] We're staying in the oh four elevations two D house drawing, and as you can see up in the Layers panel there in the Home tab on the ribbon, the Dimensions layer is the current layer. We created the dimensions layer in the previous video and what we're going to do now is create an annotative dimension style to use to annotate our plan view and our east elevation view that we've got here in our AutoCAD drawing. Now there's two ways you can create a dimension style quickly. You can go to the annotation panel here on the home tab on the ribbon, and you can click here to go to dimension style, like so. I'll just close that for the moment. Or, I can go to the annotate tab on the ribbon, and I can come into the dimensions panel here, and click on this little arrow here. And that will also take me to the Dimension Style Manager. Now you'll notice that basically we have a standard dimension style in there, and an annotative dimension style in there.
