Setting up a local grid

- In this particular chapter, we're going to be looking at setting up our 2D plan view of our prefab unit. Now, you'll notice we're in a drawing called structuralgrid.dwg, I mentioned that in the introductory videos and it is one of the library exercise files. So make sure it's downloaded and then load it up in your AutoCAD so that you can follow along with the videos in this particular chapter. So once you got structuralgrid.dwg open, you can see that we got some grid lines on the screen already and what we're going to do is we're going to look at those grid lines, set up a new grid line, and then look at things like our LT scale and our line type to make sure that they represent what we need in our prefab unit drawings. So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to offset this horizontal grid line here by 4,000 millimeters because it's a millimeters metric drawing.
