- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick in my AutoCAD Tips and Tricks series. We're gonna have a little look now at how to utilize viewports in the model space in the model tab effectively. And yes I did say that correctly. You can have viewports in model space. And why not? What we've got here is a drawing for your. It's called 3D_House.dwg. As usual, you can download that from the library, no problem at all and use it to follow along with this particular Tips and Tricks video. Now it's a little 3D house, very, very simple 3D model. I don't want to kind of give you a massive 3D model to work with, because depending on the type of graphics card you've got, it can slow AutoCAD down a bit. So I've kept things nice and simple. So there's our model space there. And you'll notice we've got some elevations in 3D there. So you can see there's some elevations in 3D.
