Setting up the tolerances style

- [Instructor] So now we're staying in the 07 Annotative Tolerances Drawing, and what we need to think about is how do we set up a tolerance style? Now, if I go into the home tab on the ribbon, and click on the flyout on the annotation panel there, there's nothing listing a style for tolerances, so how do we pick up a style for our tolerances? Well, it uses the dimension style that you work with in your AutoCAD drawings. So you can see there at the moment my dimension style is set to Lynda which has a little annotation symbol which means it's annotative, so I'm going to utilize that dimension style. I've already got my layer set up in the previous video, my tolerances anno layer, so that's all set up, and ready to go. So I now need to place a tolerance using that dimension style, and it's very quick and easy to do. You've got to remember that there's a command in AutoCAD called Tolerance. Now the good thing is there's a keyboard shortcut to it. You type TOL, and on the suggestion menu…
