Standard blocks

- [Instructor] So we're staying in our blocks.dwg file that you downloaded from the library, and in the previous video I kind of gave you a quick introduction, a quick heads up on what a standard block was, and what a dynamic block was. So what we're going to do now is in our blocks.dwg file we're going to look at the standard block, and what the standard block does, and more importantly what you can do with a standard block. So let's have a look at the standard block on the left hand side, if you want to do a little bit of panning and zooming you can, it's this one here on the left in the blocks.dwg file. So when I select our block, there's our standard block. It's basically a rectangle and an arc drawn and then saved as a block with an insertion point. The insertion point of the block is that little blue grip down on the bottom left corner. Now because it's got a grip, you can use your grip editing tool, so I can make that grip hot by clicking on it, I can right click and there's my…
