Structural steel overview

- [Instructor] Chapter 11. We're going to look at some structural steel. So As-Built has a structural steel module that uses path and recognition algorithms to fit steel beams to the point cloud. It works in a very similar manner to piping but with some key differences. In this video we'll take a look at the steel commands in the ribbon menu and go over some of the functions that we will be talking about in this chapter. So we're going to up to our As-Built plant tab in the ribbon menu and we're going to take a look at the beam section right here. This beams panel contains everything we need to do to fit, modify, and align some structural steel beams. So I'm just going to go through the interface really quickly and explain to you what some of this stuff does. So the fit beam command again, exact as it says.
