Styling drawing data in Display Manager

- [Instructor] Each drawing base layer in the Display Manager will use its sourced feature style. For example, the gray roads are shown that way because the object color is defined by layer in the original DWG. Luckily, you can override the red polylines as defined by the Layer Manager without having to modify the original data. Let's try that now. We open up the GUELPH.dwg. We will see under the Display Manager that we have Significant Buildings, Major Streets. But our source drawings aren't attached, so we see no data within our drawing right now. So let's go into the Map Explorer, and we're going to drag and drop the two source drawings we need, BUILDINGS and STREETS. We'll use the EXERCISE_FILES alias as defined previously. Again, EXERCISE_FILES for both the streets and buildings. Now, that they're attached we should be able to Update, right-click and Update, and we will see the data load.
