Stylizing vector layers

- [Instructor] When adding any vector, points, lines, and polygons, base data, you can change it, how it looks, with color, fill, symbols, fonts, things like that. Vector-based data coming from databases and files are styled the same, regardless of where they're coming from. So in our current drawing, GUELPH.dwg, found under CH080801, we're going to drag and drop the point of interest STF, POI, and the STREETS STF under our current DWG. Now, whenever you drag and drop a new layer, or add just a brand new layer, AutoCAD map assigns a random color and style to your layers. For example, in my particular DWG, the POIs are just brown circles, and the streets are kind of a purpley color. Let's fix that. So as soon as I drag and drop the point of interest coming from that SDF file, I get that strange round brown color. So you have two ways of changing this.
