Use Continue and Baseline

- [Instructor] We're staying in our more dimensioning dot DWG file. And we're going to have a little look now at the Continue command and the Baseline command when you're dimensioning in AutoCAD. You're going to zoom out a little bit by rolling back on the wheel a few notches and just panning across. And, you'll notice that we've got all our grid lines in place in this drawing. So, you can see all our grids are available and we can dimension to those grids. Now, you'll notice that we've already got a nine-six-oh-one dimension here. And that's going from grid to grid. That's going from the one point one to two grid there. What we're going to do is use the Continue command to continue those grid spacing dimensions. And it's very quick and easy to do. It's on the Dimensions panel here. And it's on the Annotate tab on the ribbon. Click on the flyout and select continue. And it will prompt you to select a continued dimension.
