- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. And what I'm going to take you through today is basically a really cool tool in the layers panel, in the home tab on the ribbon. And it's the Layer Isolate tool. And there's different settings to it and it allows you to work with complicated drawings that have lots of layers, lots of layer settings and so on. Now you'll notice, I've got a really, really simple drawing for you to use. It's called Metal Plate 2, not to be confused with any other drawings called Metal Plate that you might have used in these tips and tricks. And basically you can download that from the library as usual to follow along with the video. Now we've already got some layer settings available in the drawing itself. So if I click on the layer flyout here on the layers panel, there's all the layers there. You'll notice they are all on. They are all thawed out and none of them are locked at the moment. So if I just hit escape now, just to lose that drop down…
