- [Instructor] Welcome to another tips and tricks video for AutoCAD. We're going to have a look now at one of the most underrated and underused commands in AutoCAD. It's called quick select, so we have a new drawing for you called QuickSelect.dwg, you can download that from the library to follow along with the tips and tricks video. When you open it, you'll see a yellow circle with lots and lots of smaller magenta colored circles inside. Now the idea is, is that all of those circles could be differing radii or diameters. They're not, they're all the same radii or diameter, but rather than go and select all of them, clicking on them, or trying to window them, or crossing select them, you can use quick select to select them in a quicker way. Now you've got various ways of selecting them. Now you'll notice at the moment the layer there is holes, and that's the layer that the circles are on, so you could potentially use quick select to specify a group of objects on the layer, holes for…
