- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. We're going to look now at another one of the AutoCAD Express Tools, another little favorite of mine that is really useful for productivity in your AutoCAD drawing. Now I've got a new drawing for you, it's called AutoNumber.dwg. You can download it from the library as usual and use it to follow along with this tips and tricks video. Now as you can see by the name of the drawing we're going to be looking at Auto Number. Auto Number is really useful if you're working with single line text by way of notes or labeling on an AutoCAD drawing. Now if you're using multi-line text bullets and numbers are easy, because it works in the same way as say Microsoft Word does. You can bullet and number a whole group of bits of text all in the one go, in the one operation. Single line text you can't do that, you have to edit each one and you have to get all your spacing nice and neatly and tidy as well. So the problem you've got is when it's…
