- [Instructor] So here's another AutoCAD tip and trick. We're going to look now at the divide command that's available in AutoCAD. So we've got a new drawing for you, and what we're going to do is we're going to divide up our line here, which is on the objects layer, into a group of equal segments. And what we'll do there is we'll set it up so that it divides into a number of segments. Now we have got another AutoCAD tip and trick where we looked at the measure command, where we divided a similar line but in measured segments. This time we're going to pick the number of segments rather than the distance along for each segment. So we've got our line there on the objects layer. We're going to go to the layers panel. Just check that you are on the points layer. Now as per some of the other point style tips and tricks, go to the utilities panel here down to point style, and make sure that your point style is set to a good point style that you can see. And I'm going to leave it set to 5%…
