- [Instructor] Welcome to another one of my AutoCAD tips and tricks in my tips and tricks series. We're gonna have a look now at utilizing the AutoCAD drawing standards file type, a DWS file. Now the whole idea of a DWS file is it gives you a benchmark to basically check your standards of any given drawing against. So for example, we've got a drawing here for you that you can download from the library. It's called OfficePlan.dwg. What we're going to do, we're going to create a DWS file for this particular OfficePlan drawing. We're then going to change some of the stuff in the drawing and check it against the DWS file. So you're gonna have a DWG file and a DWS file. So make sure you've downloaded the OfficePlan drawing, save it to a known location, and then open it up in AutoCAD like so. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to jump across now to save this file first of all. So all I've gotta do is go to the quick access toolbar and click on save as and there it is there. Now the…
