Using the Explode command

- [Instructor] We're staying in our reusingcontent.dwg file. And as you can see, I've left it in the state that it was at the end of the last video, where we created and inserted some blocks into our AutoCAD drawing. Now, all of these are blocks. If you hover over each of them, you can see that they are a block reference. Now, if you wanted to perhaps go back to the original objects that these blocks were made from, perhaps you wanted to create a group of blocks that looked slightly different to the original blocks, you can use the Explode command in AutoCAD. Now, that's on the Home tab on the ribbon in the Modify panel. It's what looks like a little cube exploding into its component sides and faces there. So if you click on Explode, what we can do is we can explode that hinge and press Enter. And you can see it goes back to the original objects on the 0 layer. Now, I can easily just delete that now as well, that's done.…
