Using the Gradient command

- Once again, we're staying in our hatching gradients.dwg file. In the previous video, I showed you how to utilize hatching in your AutoCAD drawings. What we're going to take a little look at now is gradients and gradient fills, which use colors rather than patterns when you're hatching in your AutoCAD drawing. So you're hatching with colors rather than patterns like we did in the previous video. What I'd like you to do though is go to the Home tab on the ribbon, into the layers panel, and, again, just create another new layer, and we'll just call it gradients. So there's gradients there. Now, the color of this doesn't matter because the colors of the gradients in the pattern will take over, so you can potentially pick any color for this. I'm just going to go for white, that color there, and okay that. So gradients white, continuous and defaults there you'll notice are the settings in the layer properties manager.…
