- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick from lynda.com. This time we're going to look at one of the new features in the AutoCAD 2017.1 update. Now you'll also find these in my AutoCAD 2017 Update course as well, where we've got some new videos added to the AutoCAD 2017 Essentials course. Where you can go and look at the new features that have come out with the 2017.1 update. What we're going to look at is a new feature called linetype gap selection. So we've got a new drawing open for you. You can see the name at the top of the screen. And that LTGAPSELECTION is the command that you type to switch the linetype gap selection on or off. So we've got a drawing in front of us, again like I've always stated with these tips and tricks, I try and keep the drawing as simple as possible.
