- [Instructor] Welcome to the world of autoCAD once again. We're now going to show you another autoCAD tip and trick to speed up your productivity and effectiveness in the office when you're working with your autoCAD drawings. We have a new drawing open. It's 14_UsingQUICKSELECT.dwg and you can download that and use the drawing to follow along with the video. As the title of the drawing suggests, we're going to show you how to use the Quick Select command in autoCAD. Now what the Quick Select command allows you to do, is quickly select similarly grouped objects in a drawing in order to edit them and perhaps change their settings or values or variables. So, we've got a little green filter disc over here in the drawing, and we've got lots of little holes cut into that filter disc. What we want to do is select all of the holes and actually make them a tiny bit smaller because there's too much liquid going through the filter disc because the holes are too big.
