- [Voiceover] We're staying in the 05_ModifyingObjects.dwg file, as usual, and what we're going to do is we're going to go back to our office view, our named model view. Now you'll notice I've done a zoom extents there. Now I quite often do this after I've worked close-in on a particular detail on a drawing, I will do a zoom extents, just to zoom out and have a quick overview of what's going on. It's quite a good little CAD practice to get into, and then you can zoom back in at any time using your named model views. So I'll go back to this Top view here, Custom Model Views, and go back to the Office named model view. And what we're going to do now is we're going to look at trimming and extending. Now, there's quite a knack to this, and you've got to remember that you always select your cutting edges, or your extension edges first before committing to the trim or the extend. Now you'll remember that we placed that center line there, and then using that center line, we offset the wall…
