Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] Now when it comes to these exercise files, what we've done is we've made sure that they are saved to a 2013 AutoCAD DWG file format. What that means is that any version of AutoCAD, from AutoCAD 2013 and upwards, can read the files. So you don't have to be using the latest version of the software, which is 2020 as you can see on the screen. You can be using an older version of AutoCAD. Now we'll also do that with all of the 3D Studio Max files as well. We'll save those back to an older version so that older versions of the software can be used to take the course as well. You don't have to be using the latest software to take this particular course. It's useful, it's beneficial because, obviously, the things that you see on the screen will be the same, but just be aware that the exercise files are saved back to an older version so that older versions can be used.
