Using the exercise files
- [Instructor] When you're working through the Annotation Scaling in AutoCAD Drawings course, when you use the exercise files, I will always prompt you as to what exercise file you should be using. So, you'll notice at the top of screen there at the moment we're using the 00_Introduction.dwg file. So that's the native AutoCAD file format, the .dwg, the drawing file. And we're using a 2013 .dwg file format. Now, be aware of that, because any version of AutoCAD before AutoCAD 2013 won't read that .dwg file format. So when you're working on these particular exercise files, you need to be using a version of AutoCAD that is at least 2013 or above. Now, when it comes to the naming of the exercise files, you'll see at the top of the screen there, as I said earlier, we've got the 00_Introduction.dwg file. I'll always tell you which file we're using for every chapter of the course so that you can follow along, download that exercise file, and use it to follow along with the videos in the course.
