Using object snaps

- [Voiceover] We're staying in our 00_GND_FM_AREAS.dwg file, and as you can see, we've still got the structural plan referenced in, and as you can see, we've still got all of the polylines on the FM room polylines layer. Now, what we're going to look at now is utilizing our object snaps. When you're defining the areas in your facilities management drawing, obviously you need to utilize the object snaps to make sure that the room area polylines are defined accurately. So let's have a little look and see how all that works within AutoCAD itself. I'm going to zoom in now on the structural plan on the left-hand end here, top left. I'm going to zoom in on this bathroom here. Now this bathroom here has a little shower cubicle, little toilet cubicle there, and what I'm going to do is utilize my object snaps to define where those room area polylines go. So go to the Home tab on the ribbon, into your Layers panel here, and make sure you're on the FM room polylines layer, that one there. Once…
