Using the status bar
- [Voiceover] We're staying in the 01_Exploring drawing, and as you can see, we haven't done anything to the drawing itself. We're purely utilizing the drawing to go through all of the tools that are available to us in the AutoCAD 2017 interface. Now the Status Bar is down at the bottom of the AutoCAD screen. It's not this one here, this is the Command Line, where you can type commands so I can type the Line Command in for example. Now, it's quite rare that people use the Command Line a lot nowadays because, obviously, you've got all the icons up in the Ribbon, but as you can see, if I type in the Line Command there, I get a suggestion menu that gives me lots of different commands with the word line in it, so that's the Command Line itself. Now, down just below that though is the Status Bar, and starting from the left-hand then, you can see that's Drawing Coordinates. As I come into the drawing and move the crosshair around, AutoCAD uses a coordinate system, and you can see those…
